Call for Applications
JMEPP is now in the process of recruiting writers and editors for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you are passionate about the Middle East and are interested in editing, writing, conducting interviews with prominent figures, fundraising, publicity, communications, or other aspects of running a journal, you should apply! Positions are open to graduate and undergraduate students at Harvard University, Tufts University, Boston University, and Boston College.
Staff writers will be responsible for producing approximately one analysis piece every two weeks. Writers will work with the appropriate regional or topical editor, as well as the chief editors, to plan, produce, and edit their pieces.
Editors will be responsible for soliciting and editing content related to their assigned country/region or topical area. Please indicate in the application if there is a particular country, group of countries, or topic in the Middle East that you have expertise in. Editors will also produce written content for the journal, but their writing responsibilities will be less intensive than those of the staff writers.
To apply for the board, please fill out our application form by Thursday, September 14 at 11:59 pm.
